The first Circus Explored Youth Exchange kicked off on April 29, when young circus delegates from Galway Community Circus, Cloughjordan Circus Club, and Circus Factory Cork travelled to Belfast to attend Festival of Fools and meet their peers from Circusful and In Your Space in Derry.
The exchange featured performances by our young circus enthusiasts from across the island of Ireland & drop-in ‘have a go’ workshops for adults and children throughout April 29 & April 30.
Where? 2 Royal Avenue, BT1, Belfast.
What else? Professional performances took place outside 2RA each day, with the Circusful youth group presenting “Follow their footsteps” through the city to the Circusful building.
In addition to the programme, in and outside of 2 Royal Avenue, spectacular shows took place across Belfast City Centre and Cathedral Quarter. The full programme can be found here with descriptions of the performers here.
