Our next Shared Island Exchange took place in Belfast in July 2025. Circusful welcomed young people and their tutors from Dublin Circus Project and In Your Space Circus for an aerial and acro focused exchange filled with creativity, connection, and collaboration.
Participants took part in a vibrant programme of workshops, skill-sharing sessions, and social activities, from shared meals to a relaxed film night, all designed to strengthen bonds within Ireland’s circus community.
Beyond learning new techniques, the exchange celebrated the social value of coming together with like-minded peers. It offered young circus artists the chance to build lasting friendships, exchange ideas, and deepen their understanding of shared experiences across communities.
One of our favourite reflections from the exchange summed it up beautifully:
