On the 3rd of August Circusful were delighted to bring some Circus skills workshops to the Federation Cup, providing some wonder and colour to the proceedings. Their trainers were able to offer some new skills and then take part in a celebration parade around the pitches. Some of their young people and their parents volunteered for the day – joining in the parade with some unicycling.
The Circusful team will also return to the Glenravel and District Residents and Community Association for 10 weeks from September to December. Through Circus Explored they have been able to set up an early years group for 5- 7 year olds alongside our continuing Youth Circus group – something that Circusful and the community have been hoping to deliver following previous projects.
They will also be bringing Circus skills to 2 classes at Harberton Special School for a 5 week programme in October and November. They will be working with 24 young people in total, discovering the wonder and colour of Circus to some new classes and pupils!
They are also excited to be bringing the wonder and colour of Circus to Doohamlet Foroige Club, Co. Monaghan on Friday 8th November – this is their first time going to Doohamlet so they are really excited to introduce a whole new group of young people to the potential of Circus!
