In 2025, we are excited to deliver a new outreach programme in collaboration with local authorities. This initiative will take place in selected locations over 4 weeks and aims to foster longer-term engagement with young people through a unique blend of circus and storytelling. These workshops are designed to inspire young people to explore their creative spark through movement, story, and words.
A Circus & Story Journey: From the Air to the Page

This Circus Explored workshop series combines circus arts, story, and zine-making in a creative journey. The experience begins at the Irish Aerial Creation Centre, where participants willengage in aerial workshops guided by professional circus artists, encouraging self-expression through movement. The workshop culminates in a zine-making session, where participants create their own DIY zines, capturing their personal stories and creative ideas. These zines will be displayed on June 7th as part of the Limerick City and County Council programme, allowing the community to connect with the participants’ creative journeys.

A Circus & Storytelling Journey with Circus Explored

This dynamic and interactive workshop series invites young participants to discover the magical connection between circus and storytelling. Guided by professional circus artist and storyteller, they’ll explore self-expression through words and movement—learning to tell their own stories in fun, physical, and imaginative ways. From a movement-based name game to group storytelling circles, every session builds confidence, creativity, and connection in a playful, supportive environment.

In Your Space Circys with Donegal Traveller Project Letterkenny
Supported by Donegal County Council
Young people from the Donegal Traveller Project Letterkenny will join In Your Space Circus for a joyful and imaginative journey where storytelling meets circus. Led by IYSC – who place play at the heart of everything they do – the sessions will combine storytelling games, prop-based improvisation, and circus skills to inspire confidence, creativity, and collaboration. Participants will be encouraged to take risks, embrace mistakes, and explore freely, discovering that everyone has a story to tell and the power to tell it in their own way.

Circus Factory with Bunús Afterschool Programme.
